2018 EFMD Conference for deans and directors at TUM School of Management

The 2018 EFMD Conference for deans and directors general takes place on January 25 and 26, 2018 and is hosted by the TUM School of Management. In the course of the conference 400 deans and directors from business schools across the whole world come together to discuss current matters related to business schools. This year’s topic is “Deans, Let’s Get Digital” and presentations will give extensive insights into the impact and possibilities of digitization for business schools.

All business schools participating in the conference are members of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) – the management development network. The EFMD is an international, non-profit membership organization of business schools and is based in Brussels, Belgium. Next to being a forum for information, research and networking, the EFMD is recognized as an accreditation body for quality and impact assessments of business schools and their programs. The TUM School of Management holds EFMD’s EQUIS accreditation, which is given to business schools with high general quality in all dimensions of their activities and a high degree of internationalization. Together with the  AACSB accreditation and the AMBA accreditation it completes the “Triple Crown”, which is held by TUM School of Management since July 2017.
