The TUM Institute for LifeLong Learning accompanies you on your path of lifelong learning.

The mission of the TUM Institute for LifeLong Learning is to promote continuous, scientifically-based education for international professionals at all career levels in business, academia, and society.

Our offerings range from subject-specific topics in technology, medicine or architecture to interdisciplinary areas such as management and leadership. Through innovative continuing education formats and the integration of the latest content from the technical and natural sciences, the TUM Institute for LifeLong Learning prepares specialists and managers to be able to responsibly and effectively master current and future societal challenges.

Our continuing education programs are aligned with TUM’s teaching and research priorities. This allows us to incorporate the latest research findings in relevant areas directly into our evidence-based approach to continuing education. We also place particular emphasis on the practical aspects and possible applications of these findings. To this end, we closely involve our partners in program design and maintain a regular exchange with our Advisory Board, which includes around forty decision-makers and business leaders.

Our Offerings

We offer three Executive MBA programs for experienced managers and a number of professional Master programs for young professionals. We also offer a range of certificate programs and executive training on topics ranging from leadership to innovation, from private equity to employer branding, and from data science to sustainable real estate. Each of our programs is tailored to ensure that the needs of our participants are met. We are also proud to partner directly with private companies and have experience in delivering customized programs that are individually tailored to the needs of the respective organization and its employees.

Embedded in the TUM ecosystem, all continuing education programs reflect the university’s entrepreneurial mindset and thus cover a comprehensive portfolio. Although centred in Munich, the TUM maintains a global network of leading organizations, making its programs attractive to leaders and professionals from around the world who want to take active control of their personal and professional development.
