“Class of 2020” Completes its Third Module, “Entrepreneurial Finance and Accounting”

From 15 – 18 November, 2018 our Class of 2020 in the Executive MBA in Innovation & Business Creation completed the second part of their third module, dedicated to the topic “Entrepreneurial Finance & Accounting”. The four-day program presented the latest insights in the field of efficient financial planning from a specifically entrepreneurial perspective.

Speaking on the topic of “Value Based Management”, TUM expert Prof. Dr. Gunther Friedl of the Chair for Controlling emphasized the importance of value-driven leadership approaches in today’s enterprise environment. Participants also received an introduction to new tools for business financing – including New Venture Finance – in a presentation by Prof. Dr. Marc Steffen Rapp, Marburg University.

Experts from the UnternehmerTUM introduced their formats in the field of New Venture Finance, including UnternehmerTUM Venture Capital Partners as the Venture Capital Fund directed by UnternehmerTUM as well as the Initiative for Industrial Innovators with UnternehmerTUM’s prototyping grants and pre-seed investment funds.

Rounding out a successful module, Dr. Niko Waesche of Cafelido Capital and Consulting lectured on “Alternative Forms of Business Models & Financing”, followed by latest scientific findings on “Debt Financing” presented by Prof. Dr. Reiner Braun of the TUM Chair for Entrepreneurial Finance.
