Classroom teaching and examinations

+++All courses requiring on-campus attendance are cancelled with immediate effect, at present, until 19 April 2020. All courses and events will be replaced with virtual lectures. +++.

Courses are to be understood as all courses in the course of study, in particular lectures, exercises, seminars, university-internal internships, practical laboratory courses, excursions and block courses.

The number of examinations being held is severely restricted. Until further notice, examinations are to be cancelled. This also applies to all personal examinations. Students who have to hand in a thesis within the next five weeks will be contacted regarding the next steps.

When and in what form the examinations are to be made up for cannot be foreseen at this point in time. As the instructions of the Ministry are valid until 19 April 2020 we assume that cancelled examinations can be repeated after this date the earliest.

With regard to academic progress checks, cancelled examinations will be considered the result of circumstances beyond the students’ control.
