Calling All Artists and Creatives in Munich: Be Part of the First City-NFT

This weekend, you have the chance to attend the first city-NFT and dive into the world of digital art. MunichNFT is a unique opportunity to work on the world‘s first city-NFT. Artists, creatives, builders, and performers are invited to create artwork that represents a special view of Munich. The hackathon helps you to bring your artwork into the digital realm and promote it internationally.

Digital art is on the rise. Behind this is the technology of NFTs (non-fungible tokens). They ensure that among a multitude of identical copies, only one file can be considered a signed original. Some spectacular auctions have given a huge boost to digital art, which largely uses blockchain or Ethereum data chains.

At the hackathon, organised by Prof. Isabell Welpe, who holds the Chair for Strategy and Organisation, together with Sergej Lotz, CDTM & Technology Management, and Yonne-Luca Hack, Architect and Urban Enthusiast, you can expect insights from various NFT experts, discussions and a conceptual workshop. The exchange with the large network of experts is also an important part of the weekend. The event starts today at 6 pm (CEST) on Zoom.

The only requirement is a metamask wallet with at least 0,05 ETH. Be part of the first city-NFT and register here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/munichnft-hackathon-tickets-154378886405
