EMBA Class of 2019 Visits Tsinghua University in China

Just recently, our Executive Class of 2019 completed its sixth module under the heading “Leadership & Cooperation” in Munich. They are currently experiencing a change of scenery: During their visit at our partner university Tsinghua University Beijing in China from 9 – 20 April, 2018, our Executive MBA participants are gathering valuable international business experiences.

As part of our ongoing partnership with Tsinghua University, the visit features lectures on current business leadership topics, supported by company visits at Chinese enterprises such as Lenovo, Faurecia and more. The curriculum for the visit was created by the Tsinghua School of Economics together with the Tsinghua School of Journalism and Communications.

As a special event, our delegation will join the conference “Shape the Future: Partnerships between China and EU” at Hadian Business District in Beijing. The invite to the conference was extended by the official organizers, Zhongguancun Haidian Science Park.

The conference is part of the lecture series “Global Business Opportunities” with a focus on fostering cooperation between companies in China and Europe. These goals are in line with Chinese government’s current “One Belt One Road Initiative” aimed at creating a trade and logistics network connecting China, Europe, and other markets.

Social events during the visit provide participants with insights into Chinese history and culture with its customs and traditions. These also include business culture as well as etiquette in one of the world’s largest economies.

Upon returning to Germany, our Executive MBA Class of 2019 members will tackle their master theses as well as their elective modules. The next group of Executive MBA students will begin in May and we look forward to meeting our Class of 2020
