EMBA Class of 2019 Starts Summer Semester

Our latest Executive MBA class started its path towards certification as Masters of Business Administration on 11 May with the first module, “Strategy & Organization”. Participants dove straight into showing their business talents: During a two-day business simulation game, the class had to demonstrate decision-making skills under time pressure in realistic scenarios.

The business simulation game pushed participants out of their comfort zone to try their hand at different roles within their teams. Class members also received immediate feedback on their individual performance as part of our Leadership Development Program, supervised by Dr. Ellen Schmid, TUM Chair of Research and Science Management.

The Executive MBA module “Strategy & Organization” also provided scientific insights on focus areas such as Strategic Analysis, The Organization 2030 (Global Trends) and Strategic HR Management. Practical insights were provided by a real case with TÜV SÜD’s Dr. Armin Pfoh on the concept of ambidexterity, am evening session with Dr. Carlos Härtel, CEO of GE Germany & Austria, and a company visit at Atos IT Solutions and Services in Munich.
