Executive MBA in Innovation & Business Creation: Participants Use Social Events for Networking and Exploring Future Topics

In February, our participants in the Executive MBA in Innovation & Business Creation took advantage of a variety of social events to share their experiences and expand their personal networks with alumni and representatives from the business world.

On 6 February, the highly successful EMBA Day attracted a great crowd to Munich’s Highlight Towers venue. In front of 22 program participants, the event presented a Taster Lecture by Katja Bossert and an Alumni Pitch by Sven von Alemann, co-founder and CEO of rfrnz GmbH. Potential participants with an interest in the program had a chance on 12 February during the EMBA Open Door Event at Munich’s Kreativquartier to complete their application forms with guidance from TUM experts and submit their applications.

Another social highlight was the Alumni Event at Peakzone, the company founded by EMBA IBC alumnus Lorenz Hartung. The evening provided the backdrop for a lively exchange between current participants and program alumni.

Rounding out an eventful month, on 25 February the Forum UnternehmerTUM provided a chance for networking on a grand scale with 850 guests in the BMW Welt venue. Invited guests included numerous current participants as well as EMBA IBC alumni. The invitees used the festive evening to network and exchange insights on important future topics such as Urban Future, Digital Life, The Future of Work and the European Startup Ecosystem.
