experimenTUM: TUM School of Management’s laboratory for experimental research in economics

Laboratory experiments are widely used in economic research. ExperimenTUM conducts computer-based experiments on economic topics. In economic research, one of the most important factors is the diversity of open-minded participants. Participating students get the chance to have fun and simultaneously earn money on the TUM main campus. At the same time, the researchers can benefit from a large amount of comparable information for their work, if the number of participants increases. After registration, every participant receives invitations to the experiments, which normally take about one hour. The subscription for each experiment is executed separately and there are no obligatory events. During the experiment, the attendees solve tasks on the computer in a limited amount of time. The laboratory of experimenTUM is free from deception, which means that experimenters will never deceive the participants or give them insoluble tasks. Due to the right of privacy, all data is anonymized. Hence, no participant can be tracked. The laboratory is located in room 0505.03.568 on the TUM main campus.

Further information on experimenTUM and the subscription process can be found here.
