First Customized Program with Hansgrohe Group
This Spring marked the start of yet another Customized Program developed in close collaboration between TUM experts and a global player in the sanitary fittings market. For Hansgrohe, the expert suppliers of faucets and showerheads, we developed a program focused on Supply Chain Management (SCM). The program was specifically tailored towards the needs of the international manufacturer with several production sites in Germany and three factories abroad.
The course curriculum was created in close communications with the departments for HR and supply chain management at Hansgrohe and executed together with the Hansgrohe Campus, Faculty for Efficiency. In a small and intensive learning group, 15 participants completed a set of internal learning modules as well as TUM-modules based on the latest research findings in Supply Chain Management.
The modules placed large emphasis on bridging the gap into business practice at Hansgrohe by drawing on real cases from the company. Participants were also encouraged to share their learning experiences at a later point in time during internal teaching sessions at Hansgrohe.
After completing their training modules, participants will split into smaller groups to apply their practical Supply Chain Management skills during a Hansgrohe SCM-Lab extending over a period of several months, featuring coaching by internal experts as well as TUM-representatives. The results of these projects will then be shared in front of a large audience at Hansgrohe headquarters.
