International Delegation from UT Dallas Attends Courses in Munich

Today’s business leaders need international connections and hands-on experiences in business practice collected across the globe. For this reason, The Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas sent a group of its GLEMBA (Global EMBA) program to Munich as part of a program in cooperation with TUM School of Management in late May.

From 29 May to 2 June, the student group immersed themselves in a series of lectures on current events and business trends. Presented by TUM experts, the half-day lectures covered business aspects specific to Germany and Europe, including innovation and entrepreneurial management, Industry 4.0 and the impact of Brexit.

Insights from the courses formed the basis for lively discussions and direct comparisons between Germany, Europe, and the United States. The guests also had a chance to tour the offices of IHK (Chamber of Industry and Commerce) and the BMW Welt Innovation Lab before returning to Dallas with a fresh perspective, new ideas, and lots of new connections in their personal networks.
