Participants Complete Module “Strategy & Organization”, More Modules to Follow in May

From 16 – 20 April, 2018 our participants explored strategic business development in the era of digital transformation during the five-day Executive MBA in Business & IT module “Strategy & Organization”. On this occasion, we also had the pleasure of welcoming our newly enrolled program participants here on TUM Campus Munich.

The module featured digital learning tools developed in-house at the TUM Executive Education: The Business Simulation Game with Prof. Dr. Thomas Hutzschenreuter, Chair of Strategic and International Management, invited participants to apply their learnings in realistic situations. Guest speakers included Carlos Härtel of GE Global Research with a talk on “Strategy around Digitalization at GE”, followed by Dr. Holger Feist, Head of Corporate Strategy at Messe Munich with a presentation on “Messe Munich and its Strategy”.

The presentation by Kathrin Anselm of Limango provided important insights into “Challenges In Phases Of Dynamic Growth – Strategy And Its Adaptations”. Participants also used the chance to bond and network with their peers during side events, for instance an evening cooking class at Ziemann‘s Kochschule.

As the next step, our participants will engage in the module “Change Management and Human Capital“ at St. Gallen University in Switzerland. From 28 May – 1 June, 2018 the module directed by Prof. Dr. Reinhard Jung will revolve around current areas of leadership research and also features a Change Master Simulation with Prof. Dr. Alexander Zimmermann. The next module will take place on TUM Campus in Munich covering “Digital Transformation & Entrepreneurship” directed by Prof. Dr. Helmut Krcmar, TUM Chair for Information Systems.

Please note: The individual modules of our Executive MBA in Business & IT can also be booked as certificate programs. Upon successful completion of the respective certificate exams, participants receive ECTS Credits as well as a TUM-certificate.
