Prof. Welpe in German print media
TUM professor Isabell M. Welpe, owner of TUM chair of Strategy and Organization and lecturer at the Executive Education Center of TUM School of Management, published the essay “Einfluss durch Emotionen” together with four other researchers in the magazine “Human Resources Manager” and was interviewed as an expert of organizational research in the area of fear of change.
In the essay, professor Welpe together with colleagues at her chair and Matthias Spörrle, professor for economic psychology at private University Schloss Seeburg, pointed out which effects emotions of executives such as anger, pride and gratitude can have on employees. Results showed that emotions, on the one hand, had a strong influence on the attitude towards the executive and, on the other hand, on the personal work behavior and satisfaction.
More on this topic can be read in the first issue 2016 of „Human Resource Manager”.
In the German newspaper Fränkische Nachrichten Tauberbischofsheim, Prof. Welpe gave answers to questions such as „Why do humans fear changes“ or „How much change is reasonable for humans?” and provided helpful examples as well as practical solutions.
The article „Ein Ausflug in den Kletterpark reicht definitiv nicht aus“ was published 4 February, 2016 in Fränkischen Nachrichten Tauberbischofsheim.
