Review: Executive Trainings “The Challenge of Change” and “Leadership & Communication” in September at Burg Schwarzenstein Castle

This summer, TUM School of Management Executive Education once again invited participants to enhance their leadership skills during two Executive Trainings in the exclusive ambiance of Burg Schwarzenstein Castle in the Rheingau valley.

From 19 – 20 September, 2017 the executive training “Leadership & Communication” presented the tools to effectively communicate change processes within organizations. Specifically geared towards decision makers in small, medium, and large-sized enterprises, the training outlined the latest scientific findings, presented by Dr. Prisca Brosi.

These findings were supplemented by practical insights by guest speakers from companies including Hauck & Aufhäuser Privatbankiers, Gauly Advisors, Continental, Clariant, DB Regio and Osram. Rounding out presentations by Dr. Prisca Brosi, the group engaged in constructive discussions and worked on real-life examples presented by participants.

From 26 – 27 September, 2017 the two-day Executive Training “The Challenge of Change” provided an introduction into the trending field of change management, presented in partnership with Point B Consulting. Valuable practical insights were presented by experts from companies such as Siemens, Point B Consulting, Aareal-Bank, TÜV Süd and limango. These insights provided the basis for in-depth discussions.

In order to enhance each participant’s individual learning experience, group members discussed real-life change cases from within their own organizations, supplemented by scientific perspective provided by Prof. Peter Fischer, University of Regensburg. The learnings of the day were also enhanced by evening fireplace talks in a communal atmosphere with leading executives and change experts.
