TUM Startup Feierabend Insights: Media4Care

TUM School of Management’s TUM Management Alumni e.V. launches a new start-up-oriented event series: the TUM Startup Feierabend Insights. Start-up founders invite guests to their company and introduce them to their business while sharing their personal experiences with the guests. Afterwards, all participants are invited to ask their questions and enjoy drinks and snacks in a relaxed atmosphere.

The first edition of the event will showcase the start-up Media4Care, comprised of Marc Aurel Engels and Philip Ihde who graduated from TUM School of Management in 2013. The company aims to increase the quality of life of people who require special care such as people with disabilities, the elderly and the caretakers themselves. Out of the founders’ own experience with dementia, Media4Care develops a tablet-based solution for the treatment of the illness. Their product is being introduced into over 20% of affected homes in Germany. Marc and Philip will share their experiences and provide the guests with insights into the increasing healthcare sector.

The first TUM Startup Feierabend Insights will take place on August 17, 2018, from 5 pm until 7 pm at Media4Care GmbH’s offices and will be held in German.
